[59:18] O believers! Be mindful of Allah and let every soul look to what deeds it has sent forth for tomorrow.
Self-reflection – or muhasaba – is the act of reexamining our roles, responsibilities, and behavior as Muslims, in order to find opportunities and areas for growth and improvement. At Al Haadi School, both staff and teachers are encouraged to participate in self-reflection throughout the year both in formal and informal settings. As we wrap up the year, students today were encouraged to revisit the past year, jot down their highest and lowest moments, think about what they will do differently as students next year, write down what they wish their teachers knew about them, and also review for their assessments next week. Students were also asked to think about their summer plans and how they intend on making the most out of it.
We pray for the success of all of our students during their assessments next week!
