A crime scene with fractions unfolded in Grade 4, caused by a member of the “frightening fraction gang.” To uncover the culprit, students were tasked with solving 24 questions related to fractions. Each correct answer earned them a clue, progressively leading them closer to identifying the suspect.
Some caution tape and a detective storyline go a long way! A little bit of engagement and whole lot of fractions made this activity super fun and meaningful.

This month Al Haadi School students have been working on an entrepreneurship project for their Friday clubs. Students have been tasked with coming up with a business plan, doing basic budgeting, and developing a product or service which will be sold. To help them better understand how this process works, on April 1st, 2022 we invited Hussain Raza a young local entrepreneur from the community to speak to our students about his entrepreneurial journey.
