Our Grade 5 classroom hosted an exhibition on homelessness. Throughout the tour, students elucidated the causes of homelessness, delved into Islamic perspectives on poverty, explored themes from our novel “Hold Fast,” and discussed strategies to address homelessness. The exhibition concluded by reflecting on gratitude during the month of Ramadan and visitors were treated to gifts and cookies to break their fasts. Despite fasting, the Grade 5 class displayed remarkable enthusiasm and resilience, embodying the theme of resilience from “Hold Fast.” Their efforts to raise awareness are commendable, and may they be blessed for their endeavours.
