Proud Moment for Our Students – Victory at the Scarborough Civic Center
MashaAllah! Congratulations to our students on their outstanding performance today at the Bridge and Seismic Resistance Competition held at the Scarborough Civic Centre! Al Haadi School proudly sent 7 teams from Grades 3 to 8 to participate in the two categories — and Alhamdulillah, 3 of our teams attained a top 3 position! Al Haadi School was facing 12 other schools and was amongst 27 teams in total. Over 70 students participated in the event.
Bridge Competition – Junior Division
2nd Place: The Bridgenators – Zahra, Meesum, and Jaffar
Earthquake Competition – Grade 7/8
2nd Place: Quake Breakers – Jaffer, Fizza, and Mohsin
3rd Place: Seismomasters – Saqlain and Mehdi
A special congratulations to the grade 5 team Gravity Defiers (Naqiya, Malaika and Mariam) as well, who came extremely close to winning the bridge competition in the Senior Division.
We are so proud of all our students who participated with excellence, creativity, and collaboration. May Allah continue to bless them on their journey of knowledge and growth! A big thanks to the teachers who accommodated this team assignment at school, and also the staff, parents and volunteers who spent their entire weekend supervising the students at school. These moments cannot be achieved without your support.
We took the time out to appreciate and recognize all the participants of the Bridge and Earthquake competition. Sudents were reminded to thank Allah for these achievements and to also use these opportunities to improve for future competitions.
