Al Haadi School is organized its second Fihristiyyah Book Fair on 23rd Rajab, 1446 (Friday 24th January 2025). Our Book Fair gave our children a chance to come together to celebrate not only the birth of Imam Ali (a), but more importantly, allow them to resonate in practice with what he (a) was famously known for: The Door of Knowledge.
The name we have chosen for our Book Fair is “Fihristiyyah”, constructed from the noun al-Fihrist (الفهرست) which generally denotes a table of contents, but is most famously known as a proper noun for a catalogue book written by Ibn al-Nadim (d. 385 AH / 995 CE).
