Al Haadi Schoolās 2nd annual Track & Field Day took place on June 2nd, 2023. For the last month, our students have engaged in a series of tryouts and training sessions on Fridays to prepare for this day. Their preparation encompassed various events, such as the standing long jump, running long jump, sprinting, spoon race, sack race, and more. The primary objective behind this preparation was to foster a competitive and educational environment, for our students. Our event was an opportunity for students to showcase their physical prowess while instilling valuable educational lessons. At the end of the day, an awards ceremony took place where winners were handed out medals, as their performances were acknowledged. By focusing on creating a competitive learning environment through our annual Track & Field day, we aim to impart invaluable life skills to our students. This event not only promotes physical fitness and athletic excellence but also fosters qualities such as perseverance, sportsmanship, and teamwork which are constantly brought up throughout the day by our teachers.
