The last few weeks students had been trying out and training for various activities ranging from standing long jump, running long jump, sprinting, spoon race, sack race, three-legged race etc. in order to prepare for the Al Haadi School’s annual Track & Field Day on June 10th, 2022. Students from Kindergarten to grade 8 all participated in various competitive activities on a day jammed packed with activities and sports. The day ended with an awards ceremony, where participants were given a certificate of participation, and first, second and third place winners were given medals.

Al Haadi School Community Eid BBQ
Al Haadi School will be organizing a community-wide Eid BBQ on Saturday, May 14th between 1:30 PM – 6 PM. Come out and enjoy this event where Al Haadi Students will be setting up stalls selling products they have been working on during their Entrepreneurial Club, bouncy castles, numerous children’s activities and educational workshops and more!

1st Annual Ilm Talk (Grades 4-8)
Al Haadi School organized its first ever Ilm Talk event on February 11th, 2022, a public speaking event in which students from grades 1 to 8 are expected to give a short presentation on any given topic of their choice. During Fridays Club Hours, students worked on brainstorming a topic and then were taught how to construct a speech. Students worked on a powerful introduction, main body, and conclusion over the next few weeks and were assisted by teachers throughout the process who helped them refine their talks.
