The last few weeks students had been trying out and training for various activities ranging from standing long jump, running long jump, sprinting, spoon race, sack race, three-legged race etc. in order to prepare for the Al Haadi School’s annual Track & Field Day on June 10th, 2022. Students from Kindergarten to grade 8 all participated in various competitive activities on a day jammed packed with activities and sports. The day ended with an awards ceremony, where participants were given a certificate of participation, and first, second and third place winners were given medals.

Al Haadi School will be organizing a community-wide Eid BBQ on Saturday, May 14th between 1:30 PM – 6 PM. Al Haadi School organized its first ever Ilm Talk event on February 11th, 2022, a public speaking event in which students from grades 1 to 8 are expected to give a short presentation on any given topic of their choice. During Fridays Club Hours, students worked on brainstorming a topic and then were taught how to construct a speech. Students worked on a powerful introduction, main body, and conclusion over the next few weeks and were assisted by teachers throughout the process who helped them refine their talks.
