After completing their novel in English class titled The Cellist of Sarajevo and working on a month long project around it, the grades 7 and 8 students wrapped up their novel studies work with a field trip to Fort York in Downtown Toronto. This trip was also connected to their Social Studies unit where they have been learning about the war of 1812 and the battle between US and British soldiers. Thanks to the volunteers who assisted us during the trip.
