On May 31st, 2022, Al Haadi School invited Shaykh Mahdi Rastani to the school. Shaykh Mahdi is an instructor at the Mizan Institute (https://www.mizaninstitute.org/instructors), the Religious Director for Wisdom Academy (https://www.wisdomacademy.net/) and the Resident Aalim of City of Knowledge center in Dallas (https://cfkdfw.org/).
We would like to extend our appreciation to all of Al Haadi School’s staff, event coordinators, and volunteers who helped us organize a successful BBQ event. We had over 350 attendees visit the school and experience the significant changes and improvements the school has made over the year. We also want to give a round of applause to our Grade 1 to 8 students, who worked so hard during their Entrepreneurial Club, working on a product or service, and taking it from a mere conception in the mind to fruition!
On behalf of Al Haadi School, we would like to wish all of the believers a blessed Eid. We pray Allah (swt) accepts all of our good deeds and supplications in this month.
Al Haadi School will be organizing a community-wide Eid BBQ on Saturday, May 14th between 1:30 PM – 6 PM. Come out and enjoy this event where Al Haadi Students will be setting up stalls selling products they have been working on during their Entrepreneurial Club, bouncy castles, numerous children’s activities and educational workshops and more!
On Friday 29th, 2022, which also happened to be the last Friday of the month of Ramadan, Al Haadi School invited Sayed Hussain Makke to the school. We would like to thank the Sayed for taking time out of his busy schedule and visit the school.
On April 22, 2022 Al Haadi school students commemorated the martyrdom of Imam Ali (a). Students from each class participated in recitations and delivered short talks on the merits of the Imam (a).
We are excited to announce the launch of our new logo as part of the ongoing improvements to our school. Our 2021 – 2022 academic year has been a great stride towards our new school vision and we have altered our logo to reflect who we are today and to symbolize where we wish to head in the future.
On March 7th 2022, Al Haadi School began its first ever Noor Expo, an exhibition that will run for the entirety of the month of Sha’ban.
Al Haadi School organized its first ever Ilm Talk event on February 11th, 2022, a public speaking event in which students from grades 1 to 8 are expected to give a short presentation on any given topic of their choice. During Fridays Club Hours, students worked on brainstorming a topic and then were taught how to construct a speech. Students worked on a powerful introduction, main body, and conclusion over the next few weeks and were assisted by teachers throughout the process who helped them refine their talks.
