Students have been learning about electricity, energy conservation, and sustainable power sources. To wrap up we went to Ontario Power Generation (OPG), where 20% of Ontario’s electricity is produced. During the visit, students gained valuable insights into how Canada’s uranium resources are used to generate electricity safely and efficiently. They also had the unique opportunity to meet ‘Spot,’ the robot who monitors operations at the facility.
