In this webinar, we will look at some of the effects of media on the development of the brain and behaviour. Why is constant entertainment for your child not necessary? Is boredom always bad for your child? What can parents do to fight boredom? There will be an opportunity for Q & A after the brief talk.

This course offers a brief overview of discussions pertaining to Islamic theology and identity that concern Muslim educators teaching in Islamic schools. Lessons will focus on outlining both theoretical principles related to Islamic epistemology and modes of reasoning, key theological concepts, as well as ethical and practical implications of these beliefs in a classroom setting.

For the month of Ramadan, Al Haadi School students are engaging in a daily Halaqa session with their teachers to discuss pertinent topics. These are a few short clips in which students mention some of the key points they discussed last week.

This month Al Haadi School students have been working on an entrepreneurship project for their Friday clubs. Students have been tasked with coming up with a business plan, doing basic budgeting, and developing a product or service which will be sold. To help them better understand how this process works, on April 1st, 2022 we invited Hussain Raza a young local entrepreneur from the community to speak to our students about his entrepreneurial journey.
